Computer Science Entered Top 1% of the ESI Global Ranking

​On May 12, Clarivate Analytics (formerly Thomson Reuters) announced the latest ESI (Essential Science Indicators) ranking (data coverage time range is January 1, 2012- February 28, 2022). JUFE computer science entered the top 1% for the first time, marking it as an international high-level discipline. This is the third time since JUFE engineering and social science have entered the top 1% of ESI.

JUFE has been committed to the construction of disciplines from the aspects of talent team, scientific research platform, innovation system improvement, and etc., so as to enhance the core competitiveness and international influence. The three ESI Top 1% disciplines proved our efforts in the construction of disciplines fruitful.

The ESI is one of the important index tools to measure scientific research performance, track scientific development trends, and evaluate the international academic level and influence of national/regional universities and academic institutions. The database that covers 22 subjects is a quantitative analysis tool based on more than 10 million literature records from more than 12,000 academic journals around the world included in the Web of Science of Clarivate Analytics.
