CICU Student Won Third Place

​On April 10th, the 3rd Chinese Competition of Charitable Projects & Business Innovations for UK University Students was held by both the UK Representative Office of the Center for Language Education and Cooperation and the British Chinese Language Testing Committee. Thu Yein Win, a student from the Confucius Institute at Coventry University, won third place.

A total of 14 contestants from 9 universities across the UK participated in this competition. The theme of the competition was about social welfare and business innovation, including public welfare projects, business plans, product introductions, company introductions, business cases, market analysis, etc. Thu Yein Win gave a speech on the theme of Intelligent Assisting System for the Elderly and impressed the judges with his rigorous scheme and fluent expression.

Business + Chinese is the continuous development direction of the Confucius Institute at Coventry University in its teaching field, which reflects the professional characteristics of the partner institutions of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics. Thu Yein Win’s performance showed his good command of Chinese language and Chinese culture.
