Professor from Hefei University of Technology Lectured at School of Statistics

On the afternoon of May 20th, Xu Qifa, professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Management at Hefei University of Technology, gave a lecture at the School of Statistics, which was presided over by Professor Sheng Jiliang of the School, and attended by a wide range of teachers and postgraduates of the School.

Professor Xu Qifa, doctoral supervisor and National Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation winner，School of Management at Hefei University of Technology, is currently the vice president of the Big Data Marketing Branch of the Chinese Society of Business Statistics, a member of the Youth Working Committee of the Chinese Society of Systems Engineering, reviewer of journals such as Journal of Management Science, Economic Modeling, Knowledge-Based Systems, and Statistical Papers, and correspondence reviewer of the National Natural Science Fund Projects. He has long been engaged in teaching and research in financial big data analysis, financial measurement and risk management, big data analysis and application, etc., and has presided over 2 National Natural Science Foundation projects, and more than 10 Humanities and Social Science Fund Projects of the Ministry of Education and National Statistical Research Major Projects.
