Professor Qiu Dong Published an Article in Guangming Daily

On April 21st, Qiu Dong, chair professor at the School of Statistics, published the article titled Research on Statistical Issues with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era and China's Participation in International Statistical Standards in Guangming Daily.

Qiu Dong, born in August 1957, is a chair professor and doctoral supervisor of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics. His research directions focus on national economic accounting, economic measurement, international comparison, China's statistical reform and development, multi-index comprehensive evaluation methods, sustainable development, macro adjustment and regional development. He currently serves as the convener of the Statistics Group of the National Philosophy and Social Sciences Planning Project, a member of the Management Department of the Science and Technology Commission of the Ministry of Education, and the deputy director of the National Statistical Textbook Editing and Reviewing Committee.
