JUFE Alumnus Wang Wenjing Turned Richest Man in Jiangxi

​On October 20^th, Hurun Research Institute and Hengchang Shaofang Liquor Company released the Hengchang Shaofang • Hurun China Rich List 2020, a ranking of the top 500 richest individuals in China. The list showed that Wang Wenjing, JUFE alumnus and chairman of Yonyou Network Co., Ltd., once again ranked first in Jiangxi following the years of 2016 and 2019, and 63^rd in China with total assets of 63 billion yuan, making him the only person from Jiangxi to appear in the top 100.

It was learned that among all the 500 richest individuals, 13 are from Jiangxi and they have established presences in software and information services, biology, medicine, agriculture, digital technology, non-ferrous metals, LED, etc.

This year marks the 22^nd consecutive release of the Hurun Rich List and the 8^th threshold value registering 2 billion since 1999. As of August 28^th, 2020, the number of people enlisted rose by 579, representing a record high of 32 percent. This year, 2,398 entrepreneurs boast of over 2 billion yuan, and the total wealth of the enlisted individuals has seen a year-on-year increase of nearly 10 trillion yuan.
