Planting trees on Arbor Day

In the morning of March 11th, the volunteer work of planting trees was held in south campus. Two vice presidents, Wang Xiaoping and Que Shandong participated. The activity was hosted by Pan Ye, the director of Alumni Contact Office. Leaders of different apartments, representatives of teachers and students attended the event.

Wang Xiaoping explained to all the meanings about the selections of trees, the construction of the roads and the carvings on the sculptures in the Alumni Woodland. Que Shandong pointed out that the Alumni Woodland is a meaningful project, because it testifies all alumnus’ gratitude and contributions to our university these years.

To celebrate the Arbor Day, teachers and students of different schools planted trees several times in four JUFE campus.
