Lecture on the Exit and Entry Law was held for newly enrolled International Students
In the afternoon of 12th September, Invited by the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, officers from the Entry–Exit Administration Department of Nanchang Public Security Bureau gave a lecture in the No.3 report hall of Administration Building about China’s exit and entry administration law for the newly arrived international students, all international students enrolled in this semester and parts of faculty members from the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange(OICE) gathered there.
Officer Lou Jie and Wang Chen respectively introduced China’ law and regulations concerning foreign affairs in an approachable way,including the visa applying, material preparing, passport management etc. Combining with the real cases, they explained the detailed matters of religious belief, traffic safety, personal and property safety, drugs, and illegal labors etc. During the lecture, students listened carefully while taking notes and pictures with the key points. After the lecture, questions were raised and answered and students said that they would obey China’s law and regulations, study hard, and live in China positively.
Every year the OICE holds lectures to popularize China’s law for international students, which aims to deepen their recognization and understanding of the relative law and security regulations, strengthen their safety awareness, and ensure that they would successfully complete their studies in China.Besides, it can also help to promote the standardized management of international students and the harmonious construction of our school.
