New programs developed in High-End Overseas Study Platform


  Recently, JUFE has received the Mutual Recognition of student credits signed by McMaster University from Canada and the University of Queensland from Australia, marking the official entry into the implementation phase for students studying at JUFE and these two universities mention above. This achievement is profit from the practical idea of "adjusting structure and improving to the higher level" recently in JUFE, and actively explore the world-renowned institution's cooperation platform for students to build high-end study abroad platform has borne new results.

  The programs available for  JUFE and McMaster University are exchanging student in the academic year with the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University, targeting sophomore and junior in a school of business administration, school of accounting, school of economics, international school, and school of finance. The admission requirement is a weighted GPA of no less than 80 points, an IELTS score of 6.5 (with a minimum of 6.0 in a single subject) or a TOEFL iBT score of 86 (with a minimum of 20 points in a single subject), admitting no more than ten students per year; The summer school program is for freshmen, sophomore, junior undergraduate students and year one students in postgraduate, admitting do not more than 20 students each year.

  JUFE and the University of Queensland are currently carrying out mutual recognition of undergraduate credits for sophomore and junior in both semester and academic year, with admission requirement of a weighted GPA of 80, IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL iBT 87.

Founded in 1909, it is the first comprehensive university in Queensland and one of the largest and most prestigious universities in Australia. UQ is also a member of UNIVERSITAS 21, and its scientific research funding and academic standards are consistently among the top universities in Australia.

  UQ notable alumni include a Nobel laureate, Peter C. Doherty, the winner of the 1996 Nobel Prize in Physiology and Medicine, former Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, former Secretary of Defense Peter Gration, the first woman in Australia Dame Quentin Bryce. The University of Queensland ranks 47th in the world for the latest 2017-2018 QS University Rankings, 45th for US News Rankings, 65th for 2017Times, and 55th for 2017ARWU, both among the top 1% of the world rankings and among the top3 Australian universities constantly.

  The Business School of the University of Queensland is Australia's first AACSB-accredited. It has also been EQUIS accredited and has been awarded five stars by the Australian Graduate Management Association (GMAA). Its distinguished business school is renowned and was ranked top1 in the Asia Pacific Business School by the Economist and ranked top1 in Australia by AFR BOSS magazine's ranking. The Business School of the University of Queensland has been selected in the list of the world's top 100 business schools by the American Economist magazine in three years, it ranked 14th among the world's business schools in 2013/14.
